Premier Valves (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned company that has grown over a period of >50 years to become one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of valves for the water industry in Southern Africa. Premier’s 22,000 sqm factory premises just outside Johannesburg, in Alrode, Gauteng obtained its ISO 9001 Accreditation in 1996, and is particularly well known for both the manufacture and repair of large bore valves of up to DN3000.

Besides specialising in the manufacture and supply of large bore Butterfly, Wedge Gate, Sleeve (Cone) Dispersal, Reflux, and Automatic Control Valves for the Water Industry, Premier also stocks an extensive range of smaller, low pressure, commodity type valves including rising and Non-Rising Spindle RSVs up to DN600, Flanged/Wafer Type Rubber Lined Butterfly Valves, Double Door Wafer Check valves that are sold mainly to the construction industry.

During 2006~7, Premier Valves significantly extended its product offering to include a new range of carefully selected High Performance valves that are considered the ‘best of their kind’ in their respective fields, for a variety of specialised Mining, Petrochemical, Power, Pulp & Paper and General industrial applications.

This extended range of products now being offered by Premier Valves knowledgeable sales staff, is increasingly being stocked at Premier Valves facility, and offered with swift deliveries and at very competitive prices.

Premier Valves, also offers valuable valve selection advice, commissioning services, and after sales field support.

Premier’s Distribution network is considered a “first” in the valve industry in that the company has appointed registered ‘Franchisees’ who sell exclusively Premier products in return for a total commitment to the Franchisees in terms of training, marketing and sales assistance. Premier is now represented around South Africa by a group of highly motivated and trained Franchisees who can assist in most valve applications.
