- The Premier Sleeve Valve is a development of the Von Roll Sleeve valve and has been manufactured in South Africa by Premier for over 25 years.
- The design has been modified in collaboration with DWAF (Department of Water Affairs and Forestry) over the years, and today it is the valve of choice for Discharge Regulating applications on dams all over Southern Africa.
- Sleeve Valves are used as Discharge Regulating Devices on Dam Outlets, Pump Stations, Hydropower Schemes and also as Scour Valves on large pipelines where the emptying of the pipeline has to be controlled.
- Operation can be with Manual Gearbox, Electric Actuator or Hydraulic Actuator.
