| Knife Gate valves have become very popular for handling Slurries and Fibrous Media, and particularly in the Pulp and Paper Industry where they have the ability to“cut” through the medium to attain a seal. This is in fact how the Valves originally got their name. Knife Gate Valves have short face to face dimensions which make them convenient to install in Plants where space is at a premium. They are also easy to actuate with either Pneumatic, Electric or Hydraulic Actuators which makes them ideal for Plant automation. | |
